• Maisterra was founded in 2007 as a platform for the promotion of Spanish and international art, fostering intergenerational dialogue through proposals of artistic quality, aesthetic precision, and conceptual relevance, built on deep and continuous collaborations with artists, institutions, and collectors.

Since its founding, the gallery has acted as a catalyst for exchanges and dialogues between the Spanish art scene and the rest of the world, with the intention of enriching and nuancing the history of contemporary art, both nationally and internationally.

In February 2023, Maisterra opened its new venue, a space conceived around the importance of interpersonal relations and the direct, physical experience with art, understood as the basis for the co-production, reactivation, and activation of contents.

Maisterra currently represents A Kassen, the estate of José Luis Alexanco, Silvia Bächli, Antonio Ballester Moreno, Nadia Barkate, the estate of Miguel Ángel Campano, Jacobo Castellano, Jerónimo Elespe, María Luisa Fernández, the estate of Patricia Gadea, the estate of Sarah Grilo, Daniel Jacoby, Miguel Marina, Elena Mendizabal, Regina de Miguel, the estate of Lucio Muñoz, Néstor Sanmiguel Diest, Soledad Sevilla, Susana Solano, and B.
